Can Thermo come and play in Iowa?

Hey all, in my search for a new job (retiring from the military), I'm on the fast track to a job up in Storm Lake IA. Do we have any VFO members in the area? I would be working out at the Storm Lake Windmill power generation field up there. No garantees yet, but I am moving on to step 3 of the process. So, all is looking good so far. If you have some good information to pass my way, feel free to drop it here or e-mail it to me. I'm sure once I get settled in up there, those that are in the area will be wanting to come over all the time. Planning a 5.5 bay garage that is 2 stories tall. Gotta have a spot to work on the toys!!!!!.

so did u take the job in IA? cuz if you did, whenever i go home on leave, we will have to hook up. my wife is from springville. not sure how far away that is but hey, if im on leave shouldnt be too far away

nvycrmn, unfortunately, I didn't get the job up in Storm Lake. They were looking for someone with more business experience than what I have (I have like none, gotta love the military for that). Oh well, the job I have now is pretty good and pays well. So, if you ever make it out to Pax River Naval Station in Maryland, let me know. I live like 2 miles from it and will make sure you are taken care of.

im tryin to get back out to the east coast and get a boat but being a corpsman with the marines, chances are pretty slim. but maybe i can a clinic somewhere close.

nvycrmn, see what is available at Pax River (Patuxent River) Naval Air Station. That is like 2 miles from my house. I know they have a clinic there and they have lots of corpsmen there. No navy hospital though. You may be able to get up into DC at the hospitals there, possibly even Norfolk as you have a large multi-force population there and they need people that can handle all the requirements of the various forces. Norfolk would put you about 3 hours south of me.
